Summer feels likes its really here. School is out and skirts are in. Here are some photos from our last two sessions at Abeille, making skirts. Skills we worked on included putting in a zipper, darting, waistbands, hemming, slits, and facings. They came out amazing...just in time for the summer heat!
Nikki's lovely bird skirt (Joel Dewberry fabric from JP Knit and Stitch) contrasts amazingly with a floral print waistband.
