Green Sewing!

I will be teaching a green sewing class at Abeille in Brookline on July 29th and August 5th!

Discover fun ways to upcycle old T-shirts! We will be embellishing tanktops (or the shirts of your choice) with hand-sewn T-shirt flowers and /or T-shirt ruffles.

Please bring tanktop or shirt to embellish, T-shirts with lots of text or a design that strikes you, corresponding thread, any lace, tulle, buttons, fabric scraps for making flowers. And get ready to get crafty!

I'm so excited for this class - hopefully the first of many eco-friendly sewing classes!

I will be teaching another 6 - session Beginning Sewing Intensive at Abeille in Brookline. The class will run from June 3rd through July 8th on Wednesday nights. We will start with the basics of threading the machine and gain additional skills through projects such as tote bags, aprons, skirts, and a project of your choice.

Design Hive is back! This time the Cambridge indie designer market will be the first Sunday of each month. There are sure to be some fantastic designers! There is a theme each month. I will be participating on 3 dates:
